Transplant techniques: FUE and DHI
Both techniques involve harvesting the follicles one by one from the donor area. What changes is the way they are implanted: the choice depends on the area to be treated, the desired density and your case.
Both are minimally invasive, are performed under local anesthesia and involve a quick recovery. The most suitable technique is proposed by the doctor after the assessment.
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)
The follicles are extracted individually with a micro-tool and placed into small openings created in the area to be treated. It is also suitable for larger areas and leaves only small pinpoint marks in the donor area.
DHI (Direct Hair Implantation)
The follicles are loaded into an implanter pen and placed directly, with precise control of angle, direction and depth. It is indicated when a very defined result is needed, for example on the hairline.
Hair and beard transplant for men
A defined hairline and fuller hair change the way you see yourself and the way you present yourself. The transplant moves your own follicles from the back of the head, the area most resistant to hair loss, to the temples and crown: the transplanted hair is yours and, once regrown, can be washed, cut and styled as always.
The same goes for the beard: if you have sparse cheeks or areas without hair, for example because of scars, the follicles are implanted one by one in the natural direction of growth, for a full and even beard. The doctor designs the hairline and beard outline with you and chooses between FUE and DHI according to your case, including with curly or afro hair.
